ACS Athens President, Dr. Peggy Pelonis, recently led a panel of distinguished speakers as part of the "17 Days of Sustainability", an Ideagen initiative focused on promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals - each day dedicated to a different goal.

This panel focused on #4 of the Sustainable Development Goals, Quality Education, and more specifically on how to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all and how to promote lifelong learning opportunities.

During the discussion, distinguished guests covered a series of topics such as "Agility and exceptional student experience" designed by experts for the "student of the future"; helping people achieve their dreams through both their sport and academic abilities; offering the right psychological support so that students have a balanced - and not competing- life; how the Youth2Youth program at ACS Athens helps in the community and secures a bright future for the unaccompanied refuge minors, and more.

List of speakers included Julie Wollman, President of Widener University, Kam Chohan, CEO at ECIS, the Educational Collaborative for International Schools, Dr. David Gleason, clinical psychologist and author of "At what cost", Annie Constantinides, Director of Athletics, Recreational Programs and Theater Operations at ACS Athens, Ornela Mucca, former ACS Athens student and currently attending UC Berkeley, and Anne Marie Martinou, ACS Athens student.
