"In the pre-COVID-19 era, ACS Athens students used to work in pairs to carry out lab investigations; they shared school lab coats and equipment.

After the experiment concluded, they sit in groups to discuss their observations and results.

Following the social distancing and the safety measures, the lab protocols have changed.

Each student is now assigned his/her lab coat. The students work individually on their lab experiments.

Equipment shared are all sanitized befor and after each use, and the discussion of the results happen in the break-up rooms of the BBB session.

What hasn’t changed, though, is the learning of science with all the enjoyment that accompanied explorations and the learning by doing."
