This past weekend was an exciting one for our athletics program. The first two local tournaments - Varsity Boys Volleyball and Varsity Girls Soccer  - took place on campus and our student body had the opportunity to support all the athletes.

The girls varsity soccer team showcased incredible skill and determination, ultimately winning the tournament but most importantly showcasing sportsmanship and camaraderie among other schools.  As they are preparing for the ISAA tournament which is  scheduled to take place in three weeks in Brussels, their teamwork and perseverance were evident in every match.

Meanwhile, our boys volleyball team made an impressive run to the semifinals. Although they didn't advance to the final, they played with heart and great sportsmanship throughout the tournament; it seemed that at "clutch" points they fell short of the desired outcome.  Their ISAA championship is in three weeks in London and this tournament will definitely help them in preparing for the final challenge.
