On Tuesday, March 5th our JV Boys basketball team participated in the local tournament at St. Lawrence and played against St. Lawrence, Byron and Campion. Our boys managed to finish in 3rd place, after a loss to St. Lawrence and two wins against Byron and Campion. The team acquired a lot of playing experience and finished the season with a medal and great memories!
Our JV Girls basketball team participated in the end-of-season tournament that was hosted by ACS Athens on Wednesday, March 6th. The team played strong against Campion in the first game, lost to St. Catherine's in the second match and won against St. Lawrence in the third game, which placed them 2nd in the tournament and brought home the silver medal. The JV Girls team along with the "Charity Club" initiated a fundraising event in support of Christodoulio Organization, and raised over 200 euros by organizing a "Healthy Snack" booth and running a raffle.
