Comer, Maddie, Writing/Research Studio Specialist
Ms. Comer received her Bachelor’s degree in Classics and Philosophy from Connecticut College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, Boston.
For several years, Ms. Comer has worked in various educational capacities such as gymnastics coaching, educational curriculum development, peer fellowship teaching, student advising, summer camp teaching, public history research, and e-learning development. After studying abroad in Greece twice during her undergraduate career, Ms. Comer applied for and was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) in Greece for the 2022-2023 school year. She taught English through research paper development and projects at Athens College. Following the tenure of her Fulbright, Ms. Comer received a second fellowship to return to school as a post-baccalaureate student in Classics at College Year in Athens (CYA) where she also served as a library assistant.
Ms. Comer is excited to be part of the ACS Athens community as the Writing/Research Studio Specialist. She looks forward to collaborating with and learning from a diverse population of students, faculty and staff!
