Sinos, Faye, Academic Advisory 11 & 12, Counseling Specialist

Ms. Faye Sinos holds dual citizenship from Greece and the United States, where she resided for 12 years. She earned her Master's degree in Applied Educational Psychology at the American College of Greece, where she also completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Her background in psychology has had a significant influence on the support and guidance she offers to students to ensure their success and well-being.

During her Master's placement, she provided academic support to students with learning differences by implementing specific strategies and interventions for middle school and high school students at the International School of Athens. She also has experience working with elementary school students, where she instructed social and emotional lessons to help them develop their social skills, self-confidence, and independence.

Ms. Sinos joined ACS Athens in May 2022 and has spent two years working in the ACS Summer Camp as an Administrative Assistant and Coordinator for the primary groups. In the previous year, she taught the Academic Advisory course for 9th and 10th graders, offering guidance on course selection and career paths while providing social-emotional support. She will now be teaching the Academic Advisory course for grades 11 and 12.
