Director of Student AffairsMs. Pelonis was raised in Los Angeles, California. She earned a BA in English Literature and Psychology from the American College of Greece and then received an MS degree in Counseling and School Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
She holds a Marriage, Family Child license from the State of California, as well as a School Counselor Certification.
Wellness Specialist JK-12Mrs. Liakos earned her BA in English Literature with a minor in Psychology from the American College of Greece and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. She holds a Certification in School Counseling K-12 from the State of Maine
Director of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Learning Center and Optimal Match Coordinator, Christiana Perakis earned a B.A. in Elementary Education and Special Education from Salve Regina College, Newport, an M.A. in Special Education from Lesley College and is presently working on a post graduate degree in Education from the University of SUNY.

Ms. Argeitakou has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fordham University (Cum Laude) and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Secondary Education from the George Washington University (Cum Laude). In 2006-2008 (consecutively), she was awarded the New York City “Teachers of Tomorrow” Educator’s Grant.
9th - 10th Grade Academy Counselor Newly arrived to ACS, Mrs. Kunik was born and raised in Indiana. She received her BA in English from Manchester College in Indiana, and later received her M. Ed. in School Counseling from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Middle School CounselorBorn in Zimbabwe, Africa and raised in Athens, Mr. Pelides earned his BA in Education from Boston College, Master in Education in Counseling Psychology from Keene State College of New Hamphire, and a C.A.G.S. in School Counseling from Boston University. Mr. Pelides has worked at various school districts both in Boston, MA and New Hampshire.
Elementary School CounselorAlessandra Sax-Lane holds a Bachelor's degree from Hampshire College (USA) in Psychology and Child Development.
She graduated from New York University (USA) with a Clinical Master's degree in Clinical Social Work; Children Adolescents and Adults. She has been a Counseling Psychology Lecturer (Child Psychology, Life-Span Development, Cultural Psychology, Abnormal Psychology and Advanced Psychopathology) for four years at New York College (Greece).
OM Teacher SpecialistMrs. Liasides received her BS in Biology from New Jersey State University, her Teachers Certificate from St. Peters College, NJ and her MA in Special Education Student Needs from Lesley College, Boston.
OM Teacher SpecialistMrs. Kaldelli earned her BA in Elementary Education from Goucher College in Maryland and her MA in Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University.
Newly arrived to ACS, Mr. Kunik was born in Saginaw, Michigan. He holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, and an M.A. in Education Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
RegistrarMs. Dimitratos has been a member of the ACS Community since September 1993. Born and raised in Mississippi, she attended Mississippi Delta Community College for two years studying Secretarial Science.
Administrative Assistant to the Student Affairs DirectorMs. Xiggi has been at ACS for twenty two years. She holds a Teaching English License for ESL recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education.
At ACS she has held the following positions: Middle School Counseling Secretary, Middle School Principals Secretary, Registrar, and Assistant to the IB Director.
Health SpecialistMary Papalanis was born and raised in Manchester, CT., USA. She graduated in 1978 from Greater Hartford Community College Nursing Program with an Associate’s Degree in Science. She is licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of CT.
She has worked in various areas of hospital nursing including, Medical-Surgical, Geriatric and Psychiatric. She also spent many years working in a facility caring for patients with developmental disabilities.
11th - 12th Grade Counselor/College PlacementNewly Arrived at ACS, Mr. Kalogridakis was born and raised in New Jersey. He received his BA in History from Rutgers University in NJ, later completed his MAT from Boston University, and holds Massachusetts and New Jersey teaching certifications.
A native of Athens, Ms. Dragatakis is newly arrived at ACS. Following the completion of her schooling at Athens College-HAEF, she graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a direction in literature.
