ACS Athens Sports Facilities

ACS Athens has the following sports facilities: Indoor Pool, Indoor Gymnasium, Soccer Field (artificial turf), three outdoor tennis courts, two outdoor volleyball courts and one outdoor basketball court.

ACS Athens Swimming Pool

Our indoor pool consists of 5 lanes and two locker rooms (boys and girls). All our after school swimming activities as well as our competition take place in this pool.

ACS Athens Gymnasium

Our indoor gymnasium facility is used for our Physical Education classes as well as our Interscholastic and After school programs. Volleyball, basketball, badminton and other sports use this facility. In addition, within the gymnasium complex lies the Physical Education offices,the Athletic Director's office, equipment rooms as well as the locker room facilities.

Climbing Wall

The latest addition to our facilities is a professional climbing wall that you can find in our indoor gymnasium. The wall meets all the safety standards and is comprised of different difficulty levels and routes that are going to challenge our students in the Physical Education classes as well as anyone who is interested in getting to know the world of climbing better, always under the supervision of our trained staff.

Soccer Field

Our soccer field is probably the facility mostly used by our student population. Our Physical Education classes, our Interscholastic teams as well as our recreational activities take place during school and after school. Made of artificial turf with 5 track lanes on one long side of it.

Outdoor tennis courts

There are three outdoor courts that are used for our tennis sessions, units and Physical Education classes. Lights are also available for night use. A facility that is used a great deal by our tennis academy participants.

Outdoor Volleyball Courts

Two outdoor volleyball courts are used by our Physical Education classes (Grades K-12) as well as our interscholastic teams for practices.

Outdoor Basketball Court

Used by all our students for recreation, classes as well as after school practices. Probably the one facility that is used at all times!!
