   CHILI COOK OFF CONTEST

    Official Rules and Regulations for the Chili Cooks
     The following rules are to be adhered to by all cook-off chair people,      cooks, judges and/or assistants:

1. All ingredients must be pre-cooked & treated prior to the event – chili is to be brought “ready-to-eat”

2. Contestants are responsible for supplying products relating to their chili submission and maintenance we can keep the Chile warm if you bring it in crock- pot or foil tray. Spoons and cups for use in serving chili to the general public will be provided. Condiments will also be provided.

3. Each contestant must cook a minimum of four (4) quarts of competition chili. Contestants are permitted to prepare only one (1) pot of competition chili, which will be submitted for judging. Any additional chili (Other than that which is submitted) will be for public consumption.

4. No items shall be allowed to remain after the close of the Cook-off.

 Judging       In this competition the chili will be blind judged (no one knows the identity of the cooks scorecards will be based on texture, flavor, and spice.

]]>PTO International Spring Fair: A huge success!http://www.acs.gr/pto-events-2009-10/2010/6/5/pto-international-spring-fair-a-huge-success.htmlACS Admin2010-06-05T15:50:29ZThe annual PTO International Spring Fair was held under sunny skies and was well attended. Y.E.I.A had it's biggest turn out ever, with students selling everything from sno-cones and frappes, to used toys and jewelry. The food was delicious as usual, with 8 nationalites represented, including Korea, Germany, Greece, Israel, The United States, Indonesia, Turkey, and Arabic . Ben and Jerry's was there as well with lots of delicious ice cream. The kids hula hooped, blew bubble gum bubbles, dribbled basketballs, and ate jell-o in on the spot contests. The wheel of fortune, and sponge toss provided lots of fun and laughs(thanks to all of the volunteers who got wet!). There were also many happy winners in the raffle. The prizes included trips, hotel stays, dinners, spa experiences, and lots of other goodies. The Fourth annual Photo Contest also had it's largest participation-over 40 pictures were submitted and voted upon. The top 12 will be featured in the ACS Athens 2010-2011 School Calendar. Thank you to all who helped make this another successful event!
