Features of this swimming schedule include:

• All students in grades 1-5 swim one time per week, on the same day each week, in an 85 minute time block. Note: the amount of lessons is 7 this year.

• Students that have a 9 A.M. or 9:05 A.M. class need to report to their classroom first, and then walk over to the pool with their homeroom teacher. It is best for students to have their bathing suits on from home. Late students must go to the office to get a pass first. PLEASE TRY TO BE ON TIME as the learning process is hindered by students coming late.

• Please remind students that they are to eat a nutritious breakfast BEFORE 8 A.M. if they have a swimming lesson at 9 or 9:05 A.M. Also, NO snack should be eaten right before swimming. Students may bring it with them and eat it right after swimming while seating and waiting, or while walking back to class. For some classes, lunch will be eaten after swimming, so eating a proper breakfast is a necessity.

• Due to sufficient teacher help, no parent volunteers will be needed this year.

THURSDAYS	March 29th, April 19th, April 26th, May 3rd, May 10th, May 17th, May 31st
FRIDAYS	March 30th, April 20th, April 27th, May 4th, May 11th, May 28th (only for Spiliot’s and Ernst’s class as needed due to special events scheduled on Fridays), June 1st

Scuba Diving time is here again!

The Physical Education Department in association with a well renowned Scuba Diving club specialized in teaching children, will be offering a free scuba diving trial to all interested middle school students during the week of Jan 24 -28.
