Dear ACS Athens Community Members,
I am delighted to share with you that the Pan-Hellenic Forensics Tournament that took place at ACS Athens this past weekend was a great success. Teachers and students from participating schools overwhelmed me with their positive comments on our hospitality, organization and, of course, the professionalism that was exhibited by everyone. This could not have been accomplished without our team of over 200 volunteers (students, parents, PTO, alumni, teachers, staff, and community members).
In addition, for the first time in ACS Athens history and the history of the Pan-Hellenic Forensics competitions, we broadcast on-line (Live Streaming Experience) on the last day of the tournament, including the finals and awards ceremony. We received positive comments from all over the world and cumulatively had 2,100 viewers watching this event on that day.
We all felt honored and exhilarated to see the broadcast live, and the incredible performance of our students who received recognition for their performances.
You can enjoy all of the details of the Pan-Hellenic Forensics Tournament by visiting our website.
Many thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to making this such a wonderful event.
Best regards,
Stefanos Gialamas, Ph.D.
