Search the FAQ for entries containing:

 

  • sudden onset of illness
  • fever higher than 38 degrees C (100.5 F)
  • chills
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • headache
  • fatigue/weakness

Influenza is very different from the  common cold. Typically, if you have a fever and no nasal symptoms (runny nose, sneezing) you have the flu. If you have siignificant nasal symptoms and no fever you have a cold.
