ACS Athens Alumni Art Exhibition
The Alumni Associations "Annual Alumni Art Exhibition"
have been held with great success over the past years.
Alumni artists from all years are invited to participate in
this very special alumni exhibition. It is a unique
opportunity for our talented and creative alumni to
present there art work to the ACS Athens and the
broader community.
A reception on opening night is held for the public, ACS Athens Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Administrators and Family and is free of charge. COME AND JOIN US and don't miss this opportunity to meet our very own ACS Athens alumni artists!!!
Chloe Benetatos: Art Exhibition
Chloe Benetatos class of '96 and the daughter of a retired ACS Athens elementary school counselor, showcased her art work at the ACS Athens Arts Center on October 1-8, 2008. Family, friends, former teachers and classmates were in attendance for the opening night on October 1, 2008.
For Chloe, ACS Athens played a major role in her decision to become an artist. "I grew up at ACS Athens, so from an early age we always had a strong art program with teachers who were very involved and encouraging. I also took classes such as Humanities and English which gave me opportunities to be creative either with words or images."
Some of Chloe's current art work includes drawings and paintings. Her drawings are often based on found images or objects, while her paintings are abstract landscapes that usually develop from her imagination.
Among the guests at the opening of Chloe's exhibition were four former Elementary school teachers:
