5th ACS Athens Swimming Cup

The 5th ACS Athens Swimming Cup will take place on Friday, March 5th at the ACS Athens Swimming Pool.  This event has become a tradition and it the culminating competition of the swimming season.  Both of our swimming teams – Middle School and High School – will compete against a number of swimmers coming to us from the Athens community.

Swimmers from “Ekpedeftiria Ziridi”, Platon, Ellinogermaniki Agogi and the German School will join us on Friday morning in what seems to be a promising Swim Meet.

The competition will be broadcasted live though our website for anyone who would like to take a peak and cannot join us in our pool!

Good luck to our swimmers.

Wellness Week & Annual Anti-Drug Basketball Tournament

Dear Guests,

On behalf of the ACS students, faculty, administration, parents and the Board of Trustees I would like to welcome you at the 13th Annual Anti Drug Boys and Girls Basketball tournament.

This event it is a testimony of the commitment and the strong belief of our institution on civic responsibility and awareness of social challenges. We are committed to provide healthy choices to our young people and prepare them academically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically, and ethically via a holistic, meaningful and harmonious education which it was defined as Morfosis by the ancient Greeks.

This tournament is comprised of an entire week- end full of basketball! including boys and girls athletes from Athens, Thessaloniki and Cairo. Finally the “celebrities” basketball game” at which famous personalities will play in a fun, yet competitive basketball game, reaffirms the importance of such an event which promotes healthy choices for all people  but in particular young people.

The antidrug tournament is the conclusion of an entire week, the ACS Athens “Ygeia Week” in which ACS Athens student learn, and engaged in activities related to “making healthy choices” in life.

I hope that you will enjoy all of the events.

Sincerely,

Stefanos Gialamas, Ph.D

President
