Dear Parents,

We would like to inform you that the Board of Trustees at a recent Board meeting unanimously decided to establish an ACS Athens Endowment Fund.  This fund will be independent of the ACS Athens operational budget and its purpose will be for the sustainability, growth and future needs of the schools.  This Endowment Fund will be monitored by the Board of Trustees and any decisions requiring the usage of dividends of this fund will require full Board approval. 

For the 2011-2012 school year the required contribution for the Endowment Fund will be €300.00 for families with one child and €500.00 for families with two children or more.   

The Board of Trustees is taking into consideration the difficult times before us in Greece and wants to protect the school from unforeseen difficulties.  Thus they unanimously decided to establish the ACS Athens Endowment Fund.  We do understand that any additional charges for our parents during these difficult times is not easy, but we also believe that this small contribution is necessary for the benefit of our children, the continuous provision of the best educational experience possible and the stability of the school.  

We thank you in advance for supporting this new initiative that the Board of Trustees has put in place for the best possible educational experiences for our students.
