Soccer for the real young ones - lots of fun for everyone!

* Students will all meet in the Kindergarten classroom in order to be picked up by Ms. Salouros.

ACS Athens Soccer Grades 1-2 (co-ed)

Soccer for young children who would like to have fun while learning some basic soccer skills.

Location: Back soccer field - Students must meet at the front small amphitheater in front of the Elementary School

ACS Athens Soccer Grades 3-5

Come improve your soccer skills and scrimmage with other ESAS players.

You will be grouped according to your experience, age and size.

Basketball Stars Co-ed (for older children)

Students will learn and practice the skills of basketball and play short games.  Lots of fun for all!

Meeting Point: Students must meet at the front amphitheater in front of the Elementary School.

Swimming Grades 1-5

Instructors: ACS Athens aquatics staff members

Swimming is offered to students in grades 1 to 5.  Students will be placed in different groups according to their swimming level: level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4 (a description of the levels is provided below). 

These groups will be meeting at different times and days in order to accommodate all students.   

More sections of the same levels are offered so that you can all find two days that can fit your schedules!  

If your child participated in this program last session and is already placed in a specific group, then he/she will continue in the same group.  

If a change must be made, it will be done by the instructors and you will be notified.  

If your child is joining swimming now, you will need to talk to Ms. Kotsiani in order to determine your child’s swim level – this will be done by making one visit to the pool where the child will have to be observed by the instructor.

In addition, you will need to provide a physical examination which will clear the child of any dermatological and other pathological conditions. (You can pick up the school health form from the Health Office).

The levels are determined by the instructors. You must consult with Ms. Athanasia Kotsiani. 

*The swimming sessions depend on the levels of the participants; swimming will NOT take place on some days which will be communicated to you by the swimming instructors.

Early Childhood Swimming Program - Spring Session

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 15th

Students will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the water, love it and learn the  basics of swimming in a specially designed program with the ACS Athens Aquatics Instructors.

Spring Session (March 20 –May 24)

Two groups : Mondays & Thursdays   or  Tuesdays & Fridays

Time of Sessions:  3:45 – 4:25 

COST:  100 Euros / session

** The instructors will meet the children at the swimming pool at 3:40 sharp and the session will run until 4:25.   Please keep in mind that you will need to pick your child up from his/her classroom, bring your child to the POOL and you are required to accompany your child throughout the swimming lesson.

IN ORDER TO SWIM EACH CHILD WILL NEED:

1) An updated physical examination filed with the school nurse (for those who have not turned one in yet).

2) A swimming suit  

3)A swim cap

4) Towel and personal toiletries

5) Flip flops, sandals, swimming pool slippers… (NO outdoor shoes and not to be barefoot!

Group A (Monday - Thursday)

Tennis & Mini Tennis (Grades K-5)

Instructors: Mr. Igor Schoenefeld & Mr. Christos Kourtis & tennis instructors

Group tennis lessons are offered every day; groups depend on level of play as well as time and session availabilty. 

Cost varies according to student number in groups and times per week played. For more information and a specific lesson plan you must contact Mr. Igor Schoenefeld at the tennis office (available daily at the tennis office by the tennis courts from 9-11 am and 2:30-5:30). 

Please note that a SEPARATE REGISTRATION FORM is needed for tennis (available at the tennis office).
