College Information Evening on May 18, 2017

College Acceptance Letter

College application time is slowly approaching and preparing students for the twists and turns that lie ahead is a top priority.  It is therefore, with pleasure that we invite Parents of 10th and 11th graders as well as students to a college information evening:

A Fictional Day in the Life of an ACS Athens Student Applying to College.

The college/university application process, a milestone event in the lives of young adults, is often a stressful time for everyone in the family.  This is an event you will not want to miss as counselors, administrators, students and specialists, in a unique and creative way, will walk you and your son/daughter through the college application process and give you important insights toward the next steps.

Topics to be discussed include: The College applications process, Standardized tests, Essay/personal statement writing, Recommendation letters, Financing college, etc.

We look forward to seeing you there in order to address the main points for the best preparation as students strive to reach their highest potential.
