15th Anti Drug Basketball Tournament, Feb. 17-19
Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:45PM The culminating event of our Wellness Week , the Annual Varsity Boys and Girls Anti Drug Basketball Tournament is scheduled to take place on February 17th - 19th with the participation of 4 boys and 3 girls teams.
Once again we have the Anatolia and Tositsio-Arsakio boys teams and a number of Selection teams of the Associations of Basketball Clubs of Attica. It will be a great week-end of basketball! On the last day of the event, the day of the boys and girls finals, we will have the famous "Celebrity Game" which has proven to provide a fun afternoon for the entire community!
A tradition in the ACS Athens Athletics program, this tournament will be the last one with the message that we promoted for all these years;

The 15th (and final) Anti Drug Basketball Tournament has come to an end!
The Annual Boys and Girls Basketball tournament just took place and it was a full week-end of basketball for our teams and spectators.
The Boys team competed against Anatolia, Tositsio School and a Selection team from the Association of Basketball clubs of Attica. They beat in the final game the Selection team by a score of 59-36. They were proud winners of the 1st place trophy!
The Girls varsity team faced tougher competition and this tournament proved to be a great test in preparation for the upcoming ISST tournament; in their first game, the girls lost to the Selection team from the Association of Basketball clubs of Attica by 9 points and they won their second game by 1 point. In the final game, our girls team once again lost to the Selection team of Attica by 11 points this time, to earn the silver medal.
On the last day of the event, the Celebrity game took place and a number of celebrities played a fun filled game in support of our cause: " We Say No to Drugs !" It was a pleasant day for all the participants and the spectators…
