Developing friendships and positive relationships with others is at the core of children’s happiness, well-being and success at school.
Teacher/Counselor Ellen Froustis-Vriniotis will share with you in this month’s, “Partnership for Student Success” program, the essential building blocks of friendship. These include:
- communicating effectively
- resolving conflicts creatively
- managing emotions
- developing empathy
- setting boundaries
- responding to peer pressure
- understanding parent-child attachment styles
